I recently found out that Verizon FIOS now has their “DSL” offering under the FIOS family name. Interesting stuff to see that they’re able to pump 50 Mbps download speeds over copper in some situations – I can only imagine that copper gets kinda warm. Interested in learning more? Likewise, when it comes to operating systems, we’re on the cusp of OSX 10.10 Yosemite coming out in the months to come. But back in the day with Mac operating systems, we were limited to those black and white displays that by todays standards are somewhat pixelated – mind you back in the day I used to watch the 8 bit and 16 bit graphics of the games my brother played on our Commodore 128D for hours on end. Jeff Jackson decided to visit Flickr on a Macintosh SE/30 and the results were wild.
