Give us this day our daily… protein.

So I’ve been on a modified South Beach diet for almost two months, and have been pretty diligent about going to the gym daily and doing cardio and weights.  It’s been pretty good times for the most part and the results are coming along slowly but surely.

Alas, I had bread today at la Madeleine’s, boy do I regret that.  The complex carbohydrates are making me feel like a slug.

So unlike what the Biblical passage may state about giving us our daily bread, I think for me I’ll stick to my protein.
