Han Solo in Carbonite

I am continually amazed by the things that I see in this world in which we live. Now, do not get me wrong, I find it quite interesting to see people that are able to have the time to put together and explore new realms of art, life, science, etc. while the rest of society continues to stay the norm, pushing along and working, providing a base of society.
So you’ve read the title and you’re wondering, what does ye olde Geek have to do with Han Solo in Carbonite. It would seem that Nathan Sawaya, professional LEGO artist has done it, creating a 70″ long replica of the Han Solo in Carbonite model. Apparently it took 3 months and 10,000 bricks to build the replica.
Now, I do have to say, yeah it’s kind of cool, however I wonder what else there was that Nathan could have been working on or dedicating his time to. Granted, in saying that, there might be someone out there that sees this and it changes their world and the way that they do things…
Who’s your hero?

  1. Oh. They’ve encased him in Carbonite! He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.
