Wow… why on earth would it bring up such an OLD post? Sorry to have “revived” this one from the dead. MacBook Pros were quite a bit different back then.

They’re perfect machines. Working on one now, and I don’t regret the purchase for a minute (even though still paying interest). Unsure when they’re going to be releasing the quad-core laptops, but for now, this thing flies, and works like a champ. Hard to see it going out of style any time soon, but you should see a price drop before the hardware refresh. Try macmall.com if the Apple Store won’t give you a discount.

By the way – this blog came up in a Google “Social Network” search, which I thought was pretty cool. You were the fourth hit on “web 2.0″ which I attempted on an “I feel lucky” to see what craziness was out there. Happily, your entry came up to break up the buzzwords hehe.

Hey, Abe & I love the Bourne Trilogy too! Must be a family thing . If I had to put them in order of most favorite to least favorite it’d go Bourne Identity, Bourne Ultimatum and then Bourne Supremacy. Why oh why is it that the middle movie is usually always the weakest and consequently the least favorite in a trilogy? It happened with Indiana Jones, the Lord of the Rings and even Start Wars (both of them). So when are the highly coveted movies set to arrive? Happy Valentine’s Day btw .

I was just Googling for information about IP and this came up in the new Google Social Search. Awesome! Can you believe how far we’ve come from DSL and dial-up? Verizon FiOS screams. I never imagined I could download things so fast.

for me, it usually swings between what-else-can-i-be-doing and it’s-totally-out-of-my-hands. i think we have to keep ourselves in check – am i doing all the leg work God expects of me (with his help)? – but also, know that he is able to lead us and work in our favor without our help and when we don’t even know it. and situations may not change, but he promises peace – even though there are days when i can’t seem to get my hands on it.

Psalm 85:7-9 (NIV) Show us your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints—but let them not return to folly. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
