Looking for a place to store files, but don’t have a Gmail account or don’t know how to use the Gmail FS Shell Extension, then look no further than Box.net where you can store up to a gig of files online, for get this… free. Looks to be a pretty slick interface and they have payment options if you’re interested in having a larger file store out there.
This beats good ole Strong Space at the lower level tier plan, but can’t compete when you need 160 Gigabytes of online storage space. Granted, they serve two different communities of interest, the Box for online file storage, Strong Space for massively large rsync backups.
